New Rig

I put my new computer together today. 2.8ghz, 2GB RAM, GeForce 8800GT. Yah I know, LMNOP. It’s fuckin superfast. I don’t have a lot of time to blog before bedtime, but I’m going to share a picture and say: It’s a good thing I don’t keep my computer in my bedroom because it would be impossible to sleep when the thing is on.

I wasn’t necessarily looking for a computer with lights, but it has them. Even the spare fans I had lying around have the same kind of blue lights. The computer has 2 intake fans and 3 exhaust fans, and is not as loud is you’d think it would be, but you can definitely tell when it’s on. I can totally feel a breeze right now from the side fan blowing air out of the case. It makes it kinda chilly in here. This is the first case I’ve gotten where the front USB and audio ports actually came with the right connectors and worked without any rewiring. I’m pretty stoked.
