Bike Against Hunger
November 20th, 2007
The Bike Against Hunger alleycat was this past weekend. I didn’t race in it, but I did take a whole bunch of pictures. Squish was nice enough to drive while I hung out the window. Kari took some pictures with her digicam too (and some with mine). It was a fun time even though we didn’t ride. I’m totally riding in the next one, and the one after that, and the one after that, etc…
All the checkpoints in this alleycat were local grocery stores. Racers had to go in each store and buy a nonperishable food item. The food items were collected at the finish line, Sauced, in the Paseo District. All food was donated to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. I saw a news cameraman at the beginning of the race, but I don’t remember which channel it was.

so basically you dress like a complete weirdo, throw your shoes in a pile, go find them, and ride your bike? I’m in.
