The Best Show on TV

September 25th, 2007

There are 4 words that describe why How I Met Your Mother is the best show on TV: Male. Lower. Back. Tattoo. There’s a reason NPH won an Emmy or whatever he won, because he’s hilarious. Who knows where the show would be if he wasn’t a part of it. I am disappointed that Mandy Moore wasn’t a bigger part of the episode, but whattaya gonna do. It was probably for the best because she wasn’t that hot as a bad girl.

The fall TV season is upon us. I’m not really a TV watcher. By that, I mean that I don’t just veg out in front of the TV when I have nothing else to do. That’s what computers are for. I watch certain shows, and when they’re over I turn the TV off. Or I’ll download the shows if I’m not home to watch them. SHHHH, don’t tell anyone.

HIMYM was effin hilarious last night. The show that followed it, the one with that blonde chick from 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Daughter and the dude that was Darlene’s boyfriend on Roseanne, was only ok. I don’t see that show lasting unless they totally revamp it.

Heroes was pretty lame. The whole time I was watching it I was waiting for it to end, or waiting for Hayden to take her shirt off. You know that’s never going to happen, so waiting for it to end was the option I went with. The whole show kinda just drug on and on. I know they had to answer the questions about what happened to the characters after the season 1 finale, but they could have done it a lot more quickly. I think the story line about Peter Petrelli might be the only redeeming quality this season.

And while I’m talking about heroes, since when is having a multiple personality disorder considered to be a super power? That’s lame shit. That’s not a power, it’s a mental illness. If she could actually split into two people, THAT would be a super power. One of her could be dressed in regular clothes, and the “bad girl” should be wearing some skimpy patent leather outfit. Hopefully we won’t see much of her this season unless she’s only wearing whipped cream like in that one movie (yes I know which movie, so no need to point it out in the comments). I’m going to give Heroes one more chance, and then I’m going to stop watching it if episode 2 sucks as much as the first.

But, I digress. Tonight is the season premiere of NCIS, The Unit, and Boston Legal, and later in the week we get to see Dr. Addison Montgomery (minus the Shepard) out in LA doing whatever it is she’s supposed to be doing after leaving Seattle Grace. Hopefully they’ll put her out on the beach for at least 5 minutes of every episode. Nothing wrong with that.

Woah, I almost forgot Dancing with the Stars. Eh, who really cares? There are no prosthetics to go flying across the dancefloor this season, so who really cares. That’s just a filler to flip the TV to during the commercials of the good shows. haha.

Ok, I’m done with this entry. It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged and I’m just trying out some desktop blogging software. I guess we’ll see if it works here in a few minutes. It’s time for dinner anyway.
