Earthquakes and Global Warming
February 14th, 2007
I only put that title to get more hit from google. Just kidding. Allegedly we had our 7th earthquake of the week earlier this evening. I have felt 3 of them, but didn’t really know if that’s what they were. The first one I witnessed felt more like it was an explosion or something. I think these earthquakes are directly related to global warming. I could ’splain it but you wouldn’t believe me, so I’m not going to waste my time. Speaking of global warming, where the hell is it? It’s 19 goddamn degrees and snowing. Some fuckin global warming.
I’m still taking pictures every night. I haven’t gotten sick of it yet. I’m sure it’ll happen any day now.
In other non-news, I think I’m an American Idol watcher. I love hollywood week because the judges are such dicks. Tonight they picked the final 24, 12 dudes and 12 chicks. Of course when they were down to the last 2 of each they only had one spot left, and they brought them both into the room at once. That’s a dick move if you ask me, but it’s obviously for the ratings. I have a problem with both of the last 2 picks. Of the chicks they picked the hotter one. Typical. Of the dudes, they picked the one that totally sucked ass in hollywood week. He had a great first audition, but he went downhill from there. Even worse, his name is Sundance Head. wtfo. The other dude totally should have made it.
The news is now talking about the earthquake and they’re totally lame. It was a 1.9. That’s like making a big deal about 25mph winds in Oklahoma, like it’s a fuckin tornado or something. Now they’re interviewing some family, and the mom is telling them what the family did during the 2 second earthquake. “Fortunately there were no casualties.” No shit. Fortunately there were no casualties while they were doing your hair and makeup before the newscast. Dipshit.
I’m done blogging for now. I know it’s been a long time, and I apologize for having to cut it short. You’d figure as much tv as I’ve been watching lately there would be more blogging going on, but I just haven’t felt like it. As soon as it gets warm I’m going to take my camera out for a spin. That’ll be something for everytone to look forward to. If I come up with anything inspiring I might just get a new camera with my tax return, after I pay off my credit card, of course.
I think I’m also going to get a macro lens and use my DRebel for some macro stuff, since there’s so much dust on my sensor that I can’t use the aperture at f16 or smaller without having visible dust. That’s as far as I’ll get into it. I need to shower and take Seamus out before bed.
Piece. Enjoy the freaking ‘day after tomorrow’ weather.
