What I Miss

Well, I am currently at another base, at this time I don’t beleive I can tell you where but it is safe and it is damn big. Actually it looks like a regular army post. I am down here to attend a school and the army has screwed up and sent me her 4 days early, without a point of contact, without a location of where I am supposed to go or any type of direction what so ever. Just another eason why I am getting out. I thought I might just make a list of what I miss since that is where my thoughts most often turn. They will be in no particular order, just whatever comes to mind. Okay here we go:

1. I miss griping at the bug because his brother didn’t answer the phone or show up at Hooters.
2. Not having to carry an 8 lb piece of metal called an M16A2 everywhere
3. jeans and t-shirts
4. building fires
5. beer
6. someone very special to me
7. listening to new music on the radio, I don’t have a clue what i s new at home
8. the freedom to go to 7-11, or just anywhere i want
9. taking a shower barefoot
10. clean clothes
11. clean civilian clothes
12. almost everyone I know a phone call or short drive away
13. real porcelain tiolets
14. carpet
15. wal-mart
16. fresh air
17. fast-food and my microwave
18. all of you
19. my time
20. expensive gas

Okay so thats about enough for now, I look forward to seeing all of you when I get home. Not too much longer. And then I will dazzle you with and even longer list of what I don’t miss. Have a Merry Christmas.
