Blogging over Biscuits

Buttermilk biscuits! Just a few notes while I eat my sausage biscuits this morning.
You know it’s not going to be a shitty Monday when it only takes 23 minutes for you number to be called at Pass & ID.
You can’t get to Pass & ID by going down 29th and then over the interstate. You have to be on I-40 and take the Eaker gate exit. Pass & ID is only accessible from the offramp because the 2 right lanes are coned off (at least in the morning). If you do happen to take the 29th to the overpass way, perhaps someone will be nice enough to let you hang a U turn so you can go back down to Air Depot and get on the interstate for 1/4 mile and then access Pass & ID via the offramp. Additionally, after receiving your temporary vehicle pass, do not try to enter the Eaker gate. Rather, turn left and get on I-40 then take it to one of the gates on Douglas. People will be nice and let you turn left to get on the interstate, but not right to get on base. They don’t want to give up their spots since they’re THAT eager to get to work.
Government offices have the worst coffee EVER. I drank my coffee that I brought from home while I was waiting at Pass & ID. I had to have something to drink while I eat my sausage biscuits, so I paid a quarter and filled up my cup. So far I’ve only taken 2 sips. I don’t think someone dying of dehydration in the deset would even drink it. I know, why would someone in the desert want coffee? It’s hot in the desert. Ok, so someone trapped in an avalanche (not the automobile) wouldn’t even drink this coffee. I bet MacGyver could make better coffee with ground up reindeer antlers and sewer water (or bear urine if you’d rather be all natural).
Today marks the end of my second smoke free week. That’s two in a row. It’s getting easier.
I don’t think I have anything else at the present time. Happy Monday.
p.s.
Who the fuck has business hours from 0830-1730? I tried to call the Toyota warranty department and they don’t open for another 10 minutes. That’s just ridiculous.

Those people are not eager to get to work; they just don’t want to have to walk any further than they have to. Kind of like people that will circle the mall/Wal-mart parking lot 15 times to save 10 steps…no wonder this obesity epidemic is getting out of hand.

Who the heck — outside of the military — writes their business hours that way? Haha.
Speaking of deserts, my local grocery store sells “Frozen Deserts”. I guess they offer extra help to your car with that purchase.
