the prints

i got my prints today. it was $17.00 including tax for 1-5×5, 2-8×10s, and 3-10×13s, and they look great. typically it’s cheaper if you order them online and have them shipped, but this place i used fuckin rocks. last time i ordered a 10×13 online it was at least 7 bucks plus shipping. i got out of this WAY cheap without sacrificing quality. one thing they did not mention was that they do NOT have 10×13 paper. they print on 11×14 and you get to trim the edges yourself.

thankfully they were nice enough to let me use their nifty (and expensive) little cutting thingamabob. i told the guy that they should mention that they don’t have 10×13 paper, because i would have just gotten 11×14s if i’d known. i never would have wanted 10×13 prints, but it was there and that leaves an inch on each side for matting or whatever. i’d rather have just gotten the 11×14 and matted on top of part of the print.

so now all that’s left is the framing. i guess we’ll see how it goes. knowing what a dork i am, i’ll probably take pictures of the finished product and post them.

kat turns 25 tomorrow. everyone say “heppy birthday kat.” too bad she has to work tomorrow and sunday before the damn sun comes up. i think that sucks.
