everybody’s doing it

June 30th, 2005

and you should too! everyone is podcasting. it’s ri-goddamn-diculous. i don’t mean they all became Talkr partners and have their blogs read by the sexy text to speech computer chick. these people actually take the time to get together with a couple of microphones, sit around talking about nothing for an hour, then adding the little intro that they made and then they upload.

dawn and drew are all over podshow.com. i’ve mentioned them before. they’re not that good, but they have a moment or two. well they have some competition. some people that call themselves “keith and the girl” podcasted an “episode” called “fuck dawn and drew.” the funny thing is that these new 2 podcasters are just as lame.

oh my god. if i were dawn and drew i’d draw a line in the sand and be like, “go ahead, cross it, i dare you.” ok maybe i wouldn’t, because who fuckin cares!?

let the battle of the shitty podcasts begin! anyone wanna come be my sidekick? maybe jonna can come up here and we’ll be “jonna and the guy.” actually that’s not a bad idea. you better be fuckin funny jonna, or 3 people will laugh at us. and by “at us” i mean they’ll laugh cause it’s so goddamn lame (just like i’m laughing at keith and the girl right now) not like laughing because it’s really funny. so how about it? let’s join the world of lame ass podcasters. i’ll find another microphone and we can fuckin get it done.

i don’t have an ipod. i have a 20 gig creative zen thingie. i got it a couple years ago for $100 less than the ipods cost at the time, and it’s just about the same damn thing.

you don’t need an ipod to receive and listen to podcasts. all you need is ipodder or one of those programs that auto-downloads the podcasts using an RSS feed and then you can listen to them with winamp or itunes or whatever.
