irony
December 29th, 2004
before i took this job with the DOD, i used to work for lockheed martin IT. my boss was a snake, total salesman and bullshitter. he told everyone what they wanted to hear, regardless of the situation. i saw him up here yesterday, and he was all talking me up to one of his employees that was with him. i mean, i can’t blame him for talking me up, because he is correct in doing so, but he apparently forgot how much bullshit i had to go through just to get my last check, and acted like it never happened.
the irony of this situation is that my office does quality assurance for the contract that he manages out here at the base. so, i’m kind of his boss, indirectly. i can’t really fire him, but i sure can give him hell, and i plan to, but only if it’s justified. i’m sure it will be at some point, and i’m just going to sit here and wait for the day that i get to break his balls. i’m not really one to hold a grudge, but what goes around comes around, and i have a feeling that it will in one way or another.

justified or not, give him shit. just jerk his chain a bit, though. you never know when the situation may yet again be reversed.
