El Borracho
June 27th, 2004
quien era el borracho anoche? me, that’s who. well actually, i wasn’t the only one that was drunk, but i was the only drunk commercial airline pilot in the bar.
Meg is in town! We went to Show me’s last nite and had dinner with her parents, katie and rob, and her brother and his wife. It was a pretty fun time. It was my first time to meet Mr. Bagby. He’s a cool dude. After dinner we headed over to Carmen’s, as did rob and katie. Carmen and the dirty sanchez decided that we were all going to Jerzey’s. Jerzey’s is a place that i don’t exactly care for, but you know me, i can have a good time wherever i am, and that’s just what i did. i hadn’t hung out with the girls in a long time. it was cool. I must say happy burthday to Jaclyn, who just turned 21 on thursday. she’s from orange county, but don’t hold that against her.
i spoke with my friday lunch date on the phone earlier. from now on i’ll refer to her as “la fuega.” we talked for a half hour or so. i’m gonna call her later and try and make plans for some night this week.
today is officially “sublime and the refreshments day.” i just decided that. if i had a beach, or at least a sandpit out back, i’d be sitting in it drinking to corona and listening to those 2 bands. it’s actually a bit warm today, and feels more like summer than it has the past few days.
how much ass do i kick as a cousin? call beth and ask her that question. she’ll reply “aaron is the best cousin in the history of the planet.” last nite before dinner, i spent over an hour on the phone with her, walking her through formatting and reinstalling windows. i didn’t have time to help her get the DSL all set up, but i got her well on her way.
speaking of cousin beth, she and craig are coming to visit for 4th of july weekend. we’re gonna have a blast! friday we’re planning on going to the cards game. saturday we’re going to six flags and then whatever else we wander into (maybe a bbq at katie and rob’s), and then sunday we’re going to the free concert/ 4th of july celebration at the arch. i heard saliva is playing. that’s gonna kick ass! they put on one hell of a live show.
i guest posted at laura’s today. go check it out, now! i think i’m done. i’m gonna go watch “y tu mama tambien,” and then probably clean another room. i’m cleaning one a day this week so it’ll be done by friday. i’ll holla.

I don’t know about being a cousin, but I bet you could pass for a pretty good “red-headed step-child.”
