i’m off to memphis for the weekend. i hope everyone has a good 3.5 day weekend. don’t drink and drive, and be sure to strictly enforce the “tatonka rule.” piece

    although on holiday, aaron byard shows up in the strangest of places, at least evidence of his influence does. EXAMPLES 1) cutting hair in the salon, one of my clients, whose name shall remain anonymous(but her initials are Jennifer Brock), says in mid-conversation ‘werd’–i cracked. 2) later that same day, en route to kansas via Turner Turnpike, my very own mother, in a near traffic accident caused by an idiot driver, screams ‘what the fuck?, over’–i cracked again.
