Mozilla

This one’s for you Nick.

This blog is now mozilla friendly

I don’t know what i didn’t like about mozilla last time i used it, but i downloaded it tonight and i like this version much better. i still don’t like that it looks like netscape, but what tha fuck ya gonna do?

about the blog being mozilla friendly… i haven’t used mozilla in forever, and i don’t have xwindows installed on my linux box, so the only browser i ever see my blog in is internet explorer. apparently mozilla does not like it when you comment things out, which i do a lot. it saves a lot of time in retyping a lot of code. just for the hell of it, i viewed my site in mozilla tonight. i saw all the tags i used to comment stuff out, and it totally fucked up the whole layout. steph tipped me off to this a week or so ago, because nick told her.

so Nick, eat your fuckin heart out. one bad thing about mozilla: when posting a new entry, it doesn’t show the buttons for BOLD, UNDERLINE, and HYPERLINK that i have never thought of using. maybe it’s a fair trade off. however, i have not found a way to use the spellchecker without opening the composer, so it’s almost pointless. i guess I’ll use it for a few days and see if i like it this time.

p.s. i have long been awating the launch of Phiberstudios. I hope it launches tomorrow or Nick is going to catch shit for a LOOOOOONG time. i do dig the radio blog though. that’s good shit.

Looking good, Aaron…like the live preview and the site actually holds form in more than one browser now (you should be proud). Anyway, if you’re saying Mozilla looks like Netscape than you must have downloaded Mozilla 1.6 or maybe the 1.7 beta…what I recommend is getting rid of that and downloading their next generation browser. Used to be firebird, but there was another opensource group using the name so they changed it to firefox to avoid further conflict. Check it out in all its glory: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

I would say that it’s the best browser for linux, or at least it’s a no brainer when comparing it to explorer…but have a look for yourself and let me know what you think.

As for the premiere…well we all know what tomorrow is. I was wondering if anyone would catch on…yet another attempt to mock my misfortune with that site…
