new photoblog

So, today i installed a new photoblog (http://www.ajiva.net/photoblog), using mysql instead of the default movable type database. I used Jay’s script to hook up a little somethin something on the notification tip. that means that i used his script to send notification of new photoblog posts, that include the picture posted and a link to the entry, and the main site. that was all i wanted to accomplish today and i did it. i fuckin rule. I’ve taken everyone off the notification list until i verify that it works correctly, and does not send the same post twice in the same day, since it’s automated.

i took my last volume CDC pretest today for Vol 2. I scored a 91%, which is not as well as i did on the other tests, but still acceptable to the training people. i would feel bad about making a score that low on this one, as opposed to the 99%, 100%, and 98% scores that i made on the other volume tests, but i really don’t give a shit anymore, so who cares. now i have to start taking comprehensive pretests, until i score 90% or better 3 times in a row. then they order my End Of Course test. that’s the one that actually counts for something. it’ll take at least a month to get here, so i have to continue taking comprehensive pretests once a week until i can go take the End Of Course. that’s going to be some really fun shit.

Monday the other interns and i start 3 level training with MSgt Bertrand. THAT’s going to be even more fun, since I’ve already done the 5 level CDCs. what sense that makes i have no idea. i also found out today that i do not get to to to LRO school for 92 days in San Antonio, which fuckin blows. I was going to shut off my water, electric, gas, and cable and spend that $150 a month on other bills. guess that’s not going to happen now. I’m still supposed to go to the Air and Space Basic Course (ASBC), but it’s only 5 weeks and there’s no good estimation of when that will be.

we’re going to Monsters Inc on Ice tomorrow. I am hoping to get my picture taken with Sully, Mike, Roz, and a couple of CDA guys (oh, and Celia. She’s not hot snake), but i doubt they’ll pose with people. if they did they’d never get out of there because every damn kid in the place would want his or her picture taken with all the characters. i understand, i guess, but i still think it sucks ass. the least they could do is autograph my sully that i sleep with. oh well, it could be worse. Samantha could try to run out there on the ice and play with them. i might just have to plant that idea in her head. how cool would that be? you know I’d get a shitload of pictures of that.

well, this DVD is almost done burning and it’s almost time to go to mashell’s and watch JAG. I’ll holla…
